Edgewood Soccer Club is a member of the Northern Kentucky Soccer League, participating in the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association. Our club fields are located at Freedom Park in Edgewood, KY. Our soccer programs cater to a diverse range of youth, starting from instructional levels and progressing to recreational play. Rooted in the community, our programs go beyond the game, emphasizing child development, teamwork, and the love of soccer. We strive to create a comprehensive and enjoyable experience that not only nurtures soccer skills but also contributes to the overall growth and well-being of each player. U4 & U6 Practices/Games will be held at Freedom Park on Sundays between 10am- 2pm time slots (*new format).  U8-U14 will practice once during the week at Freedom Park with games on Saturdays.

Below is the birth year matrix model we utilize to determine team placement provided to us at the State level. Children may advance up one age group if their skills and physical development warrant placement in the older bracket. (Children cannot be placed in a lower age bracket.)

The soccer year is like an academic year, from Fall to Spring. There are only even numbered age groups, ie U4, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14. To determine your child's age group, subtract their birth year from the end of season year. For example: If your child was born on 12/11/2018, for the 2024/2025 season (2025-2018 = 7, they move to the next up even numbered age group, no playing lower), they will be placed on a U8 team, even though they will remain 5 years old throughout the entire season.
